​My Story

When my grandmother, Nevada Dunaway, died in 1993 our family discovered she had almost no life insurance. Unfortunately, she had not been provided the knowledge to make an informed decision about how to properly buy life insurance.  My mother learned from that experience and made a vow that I would never have to experience that pain and humiliation she and her sister suffered. When she died in 2019 she had more than enough insurance for her funeral and final expenses. 

 

While doing research on the subject of building wealth I was shocked to learn that a majority of Americans are not taught basic financial principles.  I decided then and there it was time to change that narrative and help as many families as I can learn about financial principles that up until now only the wealthy know about.

That's when I discovered the power of life insurance as a way to help everyone create and grow a wealth legacy to pass down to future generations. On my Facebook page, there's an article about how the rapper, Master P. amassed a fortune that started with a $10,000.00 life insurance policy left to him by his father.  

 

I decided it was time to "walk the walk" and not just "talk the talk." I got licensed as an independent insurance broker in Pennsylvania.  I am also currently licensed in New Jersey, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, Michigan, and Texas.  To view my licenses, as well as other certifications, c​lick here.
